Dennis Turner

Dennis Turner has been a professional bass player for 20 years. Extremely talented, with an unmatched work ethic and dedication, he is currently working with several artists spanning across various genres, from hip – hop to jazz and soul to gospel, serving as the musical director, lead arranger and bassist. He is performing and touring regularly with artists including, Oddisee & Good Compny, Frédéric Yonnet, and Jesse Boykins III & THE BEAUTY CREATED. Dennis has also worked with music legends Stevie Wonder, Dionne Warwick , Lionel Ritchie, David Foster and most recently, comedic genius Dave Chapelle.

For most of 2017 and 2018, Dennis was on several tours in South America, Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe and the U.S. He added the position of Head of Production, utilizing his expertise in show formatting and pre-production to his list of responsibilities, with Oddisee and GoodCompny headlining festivals going on until the end of 2019 and a world tour beginning in 2020. Dennis’ professionalism and talent keeps him touring consistently, both domestically and internationally, averaging 200 shows annually.

Dennis’ musical expertise and gift to translate emotion through his bass, partnered with a keen ability to pull together all aspects of a production for touring, continues to influence his path and partnerships in 2019 and beyond
