Alexandria Bolling

Project Create is excited to present Alexandria Bolling, Project Create’s new summer Arts Education Specialist and Oramenta Newsome Fellow with LISC, a community development organization. As a writer, music curator, and educator, Alex is a triple threat. Born in Gulfport, Mississippi, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, she has always been drawn to the arts.

With a degree in English and secondary education from Howard University, Alex has honed her skills in creative writing and music curation. When she’s not working at Project Create, you can find her indulging in Louisiana boiled crawfish, reading, planning her next international adventure, or immersing herself in the world of music journalism, like her hero, the late Greg Tate.

As a passionate advocate for education, youth development, and access to the arts, Alex is the perfect fit for our team. We’re excited to have her on board and can’t wait to see what she’ll bring to the table!
