Babatunde Oloyede

Babatunde Oloyede is the President and CEO of the Marshall Heights Community Development Organization, Inc. (MHCDO), one of the oldest and largest African American community-based organizations in Washington, DC that focuses on health, education, small business development, housing, real estate, and workforce training.

With extensive leadership experience, Babatunde has advised clients, streamlined operations, managed real estate acquisitions, and developed strategic initiatives. Before MHCDO, he specialized in revitalizing distressed properties, including HUD-subsidized units.

Babatunde has served on DC’s Affordable Housing Task Force and Black Homeownership Strike Force. He holds a B.S. from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester. He is a fellow of several prestigious organizations and was recently honored as a Diversity Business Leader by the Washington Business Journal.

He is an alum and a member of the Leadership Greater Washington and Urban Land Institute (ULI). Babatunde was also recently selected by the Washington Business Journal as one of its Diversity Business Leader Award recipients for 2024.
