My Life is the Canvas

For ages 11-13 years old.

Life is art, and art is life. The way we grow and learn from the world around us mirrors how we create and experience art. In this course, we’ll dive into the fundamentals of art—color, hue, lighting, form, and details—but with a twist! We’ll explore these concepts through everyday objects that are part of your world, both in and out of the classroom.Imagine customizing your backpack, designing a one-of-a-kind binder or notebook cover, transforming your shoes into a canvas, or creating wall art that reflects your educational journey. Through these creative projects, you’ll not only learn essential art skills but also tap into your visual, cognitive, and physical abilities. This course is all about sparking meaningful conversations through art—no words needed. By expressing yourself through these non-verbal visual arts projects, you’ll discover new ways to connect with others and share your unique perspective.
