Angie Belfield Reese
Director of Development & Communications
Angie Belfield Reese is a consummate professional with vast experience spanning over 25 years in advertising and communications. Prior to joining Project Create, Angie served as account manager/supervisor at local advertising agencies where she worked with national brands and local transportation clients. She also has a solid history supporting local transportation projects through nonprofit grant writing.
In 2015, Angie made a leap after more than two decades in advertising to follow a lifelong dream of becoming an elementary school teacher. She earned a Master’s degree in education and began her new career by teaching students with autism followed by three years of teaching and guiding 2nd grade students. Angie has worked with children in many other capacities throughout her life, including work with Special Olympics and church programs, and has a natural mentoring spirit.
Joining Project Create synthesizes what’s important to Angie – education, children, the arts and communications. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis on Advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master’s of Arts in Teaching – Elementary and Special Education from Liberty University. Angie is an avid photographer, loves music, enjoys being creative and plans to continue exploring new countries as well as travel back to Germany, where she was born.
