Meredith Meer
Visual Artist
Meredith Meer is a visual artist, designer, and teacher with over a decade of experience teaching, making art, and designing in different settings around the world. Originally from Takoma Park, Maryland, Meredith received her BFA in Studio Art from New York University with a concentration in painting. In 2019, Meredith received a MA in Teaching from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland. Currently, Meredith is a freelance graphic designer and teaching artist who collaborates with organizations working to make the world a better place. In 2022, Meredith founded Art Pod, an art education brand that designs products and experiences that foster wellbeing by teaching artistic habits and skills. As an artist, Meredith believes that making art is a powerful tool for emotional wellness. In her own practice, Meredith explores expressive art making, nature-based practices, experimentation, and play.
