Meet Nicole Piekarski, our Art Therapy Intern and second-year student in GWU’s Art Therapy Master’s program. With a rich background in diverse mediums and techniques, Nicole draws inspiration from her native New York, where her appreciation for style, abstract art, and cultural influences developed.
In her approach to art therapy, Nicole integrates person-centered ideologies and psychodynamic concepts, leveraging art for identity exploration, confidence building, and beyond. Eager to share her knowledge and skills, Nicole looks forward to supporting the socio-emotional development of Project Create’s students.
