Tracie Turnipseed

Tracie Turnipseed is Owner of My Orange Wellness, located on Capitol Hill. She focuses on women’s health, including Pregnancy, Fertility, Postnatal, and Therapeutic Massage. As a Massage Therapist and a member of the Birthing Community, she works with mother’s and mothers to be to prepare their bodies for safe labor/delivery and recovery. She has been practicing in Washington, DC since 2008, and opened her own practice in June 2015. 

She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice. In her past life she worked for the City of Alexandria with the mentally ill, running a psychosocial rehab unit to help consumers learn job skills to re-enter the work force. Tracie grew up In North Potomac, MD and moved to Congress Heights in SE Washington DC with her husband 2010.  She is the mother of four children, and is active in escorting them to all of their activities through out the week to include art classes at Project Create.
